The beach! — Paracas , Peru
Currently lying on my bed watching the telly after a great day, well a lot of it was on a bus! In Pisco well a town just outside called Paracas, it's nice by the coast of the pacific. We woke up earliesh and went to Starbucks in central Miraflorres had a walk around some of the markets before getting on a bus to the main terminal in Lima. We had an hours wait there in the VIP lounge very nice! Then got the coach to Paracas, me and Kim are sharing again but I'm glad about that as we sat next to each other on the coach and had a good chat she's lovely I really like her. We checked in then went for a half hour walk along the beach which was nice, though the sand is a bit grubby and got everywhere! We saw some really cool pelicans too they are massive! Managed to sneak a few pictures with out getting charged :) We went to a nice restaurant for dinner had a great view over the beach, waited what felt like a decade for food (it was probably like an hour) but the seafood was really nice I had like a paella type dish and a Pisco sour then some pilsners beers with Annie, marney, Caroline and Carlos was nice. Still not used to the time difference feel shattered at 9pm but have to be up early tomorrow to go to the reserve. Well excited about tomorrow going to hopefully see some penguins, sea lions and dolphins then going to Nasca, going to be sand buggying, boarding etc on the sand dunes will we awesome I'm mega exited then the day after off the the Nasca lines. Not missing home at all today, not even spoken to Rob today properly and to be honest I'm not upset about it, I've started making friends here there are 16 of us after all so lots of company, plus loads of the, have travelled before so lots to talk about. It's definitely feeling like a holiday now rather than a big strenuous trip and im excited to go everywhere in South America as well as New Zealand and Australia. Exciting times!
